Ingredient Choices & Sourcing

Our choice of raw ingredients is guided by these factors:

We prioritize renewable, biodegradable, and sustainable ingredients alternatives:

  1. We avoid petrochemical-derived substances, as outlined in our #SAYNOLIST.
  2. We use biodegradable ingredients that break down safely in the environment.
  3. We prioritize alternatives produced using green chemistry—minimizing toxicity and environmental impact.
  4. We intentionally avoid controversial or questionable ingredients.

We ethically source our ingredients with a transparent supply chain:

  1. We choose certified organic, fair trade, or ethically wild-crafted ingredients whenever possible.
  2. We work with suppliers who provide traceability and documentation of responsible sourcing practices.
  3. We clearly communicate the percentage of organic, plant-derived, and wild-harvested ingredients in our formulations.

Manufacturing Practices

All SAY products are crafted in our GMP lab in Singapore, where sustainability and safety guide every step of our production process.

1.Use of high-performance ingredients sourced globally from suppliers who meet strict environmental and ethical standards.

2.Full chemical transparency from all manufacturing input suppliers, including disclosure of any Chemicals of High Concern (CoHCs) as per our #SAYNOLIST.

3.Preference for suppliers who follow established safer chemistry frameworks according to this ingredients highlighted in this lists

4.We reduce our chemical and carbon footprint through green chemistry and energy-efficient practices:

  • Over 90% of our skincare and haircare products are made using a cold process - eliminating the need for heat and significantly lowering energy use.
  • We employ plant-derived emulsifiers and biodegradable materials aligned with green chemistry principles.

Our production methods are designed to avoid Chemicals of High Concerns (CoHCs) unless no safer alternatives exist, ensuring our manufacturing remains as clean as our formulations.

Packaging

Over 90% of our packaging uses Miron Violet Glass—recyclable and protective of product integrity. #SAYChemicalsPolicyforPackaging.

We encourage reuse through our #SAYREUSEINITIATIVE, inviting customers to return bottles for recycling.

Deliveries are packed in recyclable boxes, cushioned with biodegradable wood or recycled paper shavings to minimize waste.
